Darren J. Butler (Book, Lyrics) is an international award winning playwright and screenwriter. He holds an MFA in Writing for the Stage and Screen from Point Park University. Darren spent twenty-one seasons as the Artistic Director of William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker at the Helen Keller Birthplace, which was the official outdoor drama for the State of Alabama. His work with the production led him to his mentors, playwright, William Gibson and director, Arthur Penn. He has worked extensively as a director and acting coach in professional and educational theatre. His musical, Runaway Home, produced two monologues that were published in Contemporary Monologues for Women - Volume II. His writing for television and film won at the Virgin Cinefest, Rome Independent Prisma Awards, the Festigious Los Angeles Festival, and the Big Shoulders International Film Festival. In 2022, Darren was a semi-finalist for the O’Neill Musical Theatre Production Award for his work on the new musical, Out of the Blue. Judy Rodman (Lyrics/Music) is an award-winning vocal coach, recording artist, live performer, public speaker, published author, songwriter, musician, studio producer and podcaster with over 50 years of success in the music industry. Her students and recording clients have appeared on The Today Show, Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, The Voice, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, Grammys, CMA, ACM; MTV Awards Shows, Rolling Stone Magazine, New York Times; NYT Best Seller list. They include major and indie recording artists and labels, artist development companies, touring and studio background singers, national public speakers, authors, radio; TV personnel, teachers and voiceover talent. Emma Denson (Stage One Reading Director) is an Alabama-born, Brooklyn-based director and writer of theatre. She was a 2023 Berkeley Rep Ground Floor Artist, where she worked on her project with LeAnne Howe and Colm Summers: The Keening (Co-Deviser/Associate Director). In June, Emma won best short at Downtown Urban Arts Festival 2023 for her play, Otis and Anna, which she wrote and directed. In January 2023, she directed a reading of her and Dr. Maria Rewakowicz’ bilingual adaptation of Hunger at Irish Arts Center for Origin Theatre Company’s First Irish Festival, and a second reading took place at the Ukrainian Museum in May. She wrote and directed the short play sub[vert]way as part of IATI Theater’s Mujerstory 2023, and was recently a director-in-residence at Mississippi State University. SEAN PALLATRONI (Musical Director/Arrangements) is an EMMY® Award winning composer, songwriter, music director and pianist. Sean completed his undergraduate degree in Music Composition at the Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre (University of Hartford) and holds his MFA from the Tisch School’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, NYU. Sean has had works premier at the  New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and his work has won “Best Original Score” at the New York Winterfest Theatre Festival. He is the winner of the 2010 Alabama Orchestra Association composition contest, and the recipient of the Edward Diamente Award. Currently, Sean is a vocal coach and accompanist at PACE University’s Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance departments, and is an arranger and music consultant for broadway performers. 

DAVID RUEBHAUSEN, PhD (Design) began his theatrical career in the Kansas City area working as the Student Technical Director for William Jewell College theatre and acting in such productions as Marat/Sade, The Importance of Being Earnest, Romeo and Juliet and The Insect Comedy. While there he also performed walk-ons with such visiting groups as The Acting Company and the Houston Ballet, working with such directors as Robert Brustein (American Rep) and Tomas MacAnna (Abbey Theatre). While completing graduate work in Minneapolis, Dr. Ruebhausen served as Theatre Instructor and as Managing Director for the University of Minnesota Theatre and Minnesota Centennial Showboat. While in the Twin Cities, he directed and/or designed for such productions as Children of a Lesser God, The Bourgeois Gentleman, Ghosts, Arms and the Man and Beyond Therapy. Dr. Ruebhausen served as the senior faculty member for UNA Theatre, teaching courses in design, directing, voice, acting, history, dramatic literature and arts management. At UNA, Dr. Ruebhausen has directed and/or designed such productions as The Man of La Mancha, The Glass Menagerie, Tartuffe, Oedipus/Antigone and Dr. Faustus. Dr. Ruebhausen has received several “Excellence in Design” and “Excellence in Directing” awards from the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival for Oedipus, Spring Awakening, Charley’s Aunt, Becky’s New Car, 6 Characters in Search of an Author, Tango and Dr. Faustus. He is the scenic designer for The Miracle Worker, produced at the Ivy Green Amphitheater at the Helen Keller Birthplace.
